TJWK Celebrates Its Own Homecoming

The Joe We Know”  will be presented on Fri., Sept. 26  at 8 p.m. at The State Theatre in downtown State College. The film premiered there on Feb. 18, 2012 to a packed house.

Although free, tickets are required to attend the event. Planners request a $10 per person donation to help defray costs. Funds will be donated to The State Theatre in memory of Joseph Vincent Paterno. The screening will be followed by a producer’s talk and audience question and answer period. Doors open at 7 p.m. To reserve tickets, preview highlights of the film and learn more, please visit: www.grandexperiment.org.

The Homecoming event is presented by Carol and Jason Goft, The Montgomery County Chapter of the PSAA, The State Theatre and the Lettermen who are the movie’s producers. The groups are focused on promoting the values espoused by Coach Paterno, educating the public about Paterno’s persistent integrity, and securing a fair legacy for the coach, especially in the wake of the scandal with connections to Penn State.
